My name is Jane, founder and senior confectioner of Cakefigures.com. I’ve been making cakes for 20 years, ever since I made my daughter's first birthday cake, and was hooked ever since!
I’m also a professional artist, and was a secondary school art teacher for several years. My art training, mainly figurative drawing and painting, led me back to sculpture and the human form, and that’s when I started using my skills to create cake figures.
